First of all Happy New Year! We have had the pleasure and joy of serving all of you throughout the years at Molly's Bistro. With the coming of the new year we are sad to say we must close our doors after nine years. We love this community and are thrilled that we will remain in Midland pursuing new adventures.

We have enjoyed every moment of making memories for our customers and have had the pleasure to create a wonderful experience for you every time you visited Molly’s.

Twin cocoa curry marinated and grilled lamb lollipops
with tatziki and balsamic reduction

Twin Filet Au Poivere (2) peppercorn-crushed beef tenderloin medallions
pan seared, then deglazed with cognac, served with garlic mashed redskins,
roasted carrots and broccoli

Pan-Seared Sea Scallops, smashed garlic and leek redskin potato, tomato basil
buerre blanc, grilled asparagus, Roma tomato and Parmesan chip

Pan-Fried Horseradish Crusted Grouper, garlic mashed redskins, lemon maple beets and green beans, crispy fried leeks, caper aioli and chive oil

Pan-Seared Escalloped Veal topped with ham and melted swiss cheese,
mashed redskins, balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts and marsala demi

Sun-dried Tomato Basil Pesto-Rubbed Salmon, white wine risotto,
roasted broccoli and carrots

Stuffed Chicken Breast Roulade with goat cheese and dates,
wrapped in bacon and drizzled with orange marmalade,
served with basmati rice and roasted seasonal vegetables

Dessert:

Molly Announces Her CD “Live From Molly’s”
CD sales to benefit Genetic Testing Fund at MidMichigan Medical Center


Molly McFadden (nee Scates) was called “the future of New York Cabaret” by such icons of song as Sylvia Sims and Margaret Whiting. On November 2, 2008, the musician turned restaurateur released a CD “Live From Molly’s” recorded in the bistro bearing her name.  As much a part of the CD as Molly herself is her band. Dave Smith, Pete Simonson, and Roland Wallace are part of the Jazz oasis created at Molly’s Bistro regularly. Additionally, Molly’s long-time friend and Legend of Jazz Joe Wilder recently performed with her as part of a local PBS-TV fundraiser. Many of the songs they performed are on this new CD. The CDs are available for purchase at Molly's Bistro.
